Q. Were there enough people there ? A. Yes
Q. Were there any pedestrians? A. Yes but when they saw 15+ buggies coming at them they got out the way.
Q. Did you come first? A. No.
Q. Did you have a laugh? A. Oh ya.
Q. Do I need to know anything else about this beach? A. NO.just don't be a fair weather kiter. Not all the middle age folk stop kiting for the winter months. something to do with commitment to the sport.

Q. Are there any pedestrians on the beach?
A. Some, naked ones at the far end of the beach apparently
Q. Are there any regulations? A. No. This is Scotland not Ainsdale.
Q.So was there enough wind. ?
A.No the guy with the biggest kite won.
Q. Was it a laugh though?
A. Yes the kiters of the west coast are a nice bunch.
Q. Do I need to know anything else about this beach?
A. Beware of the burnt out cars, and sticks of dynamite on the beach.
Not enough time to get to St Andrews, so Kirkcaldy sea front will do (yes you read this correctly).

Q. Is it wet? A. Late tide dries better in the summer
Q. And cold? A. Yes.
Q. So why go kiting? A. Dedication, you won't find any fair weather kiting here boy.
Q. Was it windy? A. Clean Easterly (St Andrews would have been good).
Q. Can you kite on this beach in the dark? A. Interesting question. Probably the lights from the esplanade seem to give enough light. Might give it a go some time.

Q. SE wind so that's good then? A. One and a half miles of firm sand with very few people and a peachy clean wind.
Q. So no-one else there then. A. Well no, two boarders and us two buggies and a couple of dog walkers. That really filled up the beach ( not ).
Q.And did you really tape £500 pounds of camera onto your kite? A. Yes, and a small bag of sand to compensate for the wait on one side.
Q. And is your kite called Maria? A. Yes don't you name your kites?
Q. And how long were you there for? A. Got there at 8am left at 1 ish after 40 od miles between us. Dam I love living near a beach.
