Westward Ho! was named after the book of the same name written by Charles Kingsley in the mid 1800s. Do I care! what matters is It has two miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay,

Devon seems to have one of the strictest regulations for kite flying so be respectfull to regulation man if you come across him

• Parking right at the beach
• Good long runs when the tide is out and the wind is right.

Bad Points
• Devon is home of regulation man and bans have been inforced on some beachers after incidences with the public, so be respectfull and stay out of any whinging @#$$*&@!! way.
