Perranporth, over two miles long and a quarter of a mile wide at low tide, is one of Cornwall's finest expansive beaches. It has sand dunes at the top and with acres of flat sand, it makes it an ideal and safe place to learn. With a Pub on the beach as well what else do you need!
This is a very popular beach for surfing so please respect their rights to enjoy this location too.
New restrictions are in force (Summer 2004 onwards) to segregate kite users from other water users, check up on the details when you get to the beach.
Home base for the Mobius kitesurf / buggy / landboard / powerkite school.
Directions :
It is well signposted off the A30 trunk road from the north or south and use either the B3285 or B3284. There is parking either on the beach car park or one the cliff top to the South of the beach. Both will charge depending on the season you are in. (Free in Winter).
