The crescent beach just west of Largo is very secluded, and is an excellent place to buggy in the prevailing Westerly winds we get in Fife. A Westerly wind here is cleaner than at St Andrews and gives a long run unlike Kinghorn.
Its a bit of a drive and a walk though, but its empty because of this. Its more of a walk in the winter because the caravan park is shut but you can get quite close to the beach in the summer months.
Best Wind : SW. W.
Worst Winds : N. SE.
Good Points
• No one there
• Good for the prevailing Westerly
Bad Points
• Its a long way to go and a bit tricky to find.
• And then you have to walk quite a way as well. |
