Beach Info

Kirkcaldy Beach is an interesting place to kite buggy. Although a little wet at the Southerly end, with a few interesting obstacles (rock outcrops) its not bad if you keep north of the river.

The Northern end of the beach will give you a dry 1 mile run in a NE, E or SE wind with parking right next to the beach.

Best Wind SE, E
Worst Winds SW, NW, W

Good Points
• Parking right at the beach.
• Not to many pedestrians.
• You can race cars there only aloud to do 30 mph.

Bad Points
• A bit wet
• Tide comes in quick
• Not for learners since there is no room for error. (quite a narrow beach and you don't want to let go and have your kite ending up on the front of a No 7 bus).
