Beach Info

The Island of Tiree situated on the west coast of Scotland is roughly 10 miles long and 4 miles wide in parts. The beaches are amazing and perfect for bugging. There are to many to mention so I have concentrated on the largest Gott Bay, with a possible 2.5 miles run.

To get to Tiree get the 3.5 hr boat ride from Oban or take the 45 min plane flight from Glasgow. if you have your kite kit get the boat.

The island has 2 hotels, the Scarinish Hotel and the Lodge hotel. There are a number of B&B's on the island and also a number of cottages available to rent, I just take a tent, (Beach, Tent, Beer, Buggy).

Best Wind for Gott Bay: S SE SW or Just find a beach that fits.
