If you are desperate for a blast in a Northerly Fisherrrow Sands Musselburgh is one place you can get a clean Northerly wind, unless you go to the Western Isles.

Both these pictures show the tide in, there's a thin dry bit with a wider wet bit that does dry out on good days (very good days).

So if the wind is coming from the North and your desperate for a blast and live in this area Fisherrow Sands is the place to go.

But wait. Just up the coast is Senton Sands and its better.
