Chamber Sands has a pebble slope leading to a wide, flat, hard compact sand beach. The western side of the beach is the widest (400 yards at low tide) narrowing down as it goes east. The eastern side is also interrupted by wooden beach protection barriers, so hit the beach & turn right. The sand is hard enough for power kiting and makes for great buggy runs, and there is enough space for many stunt fliers.
Watch out for - the wooden barriers further down the beach, walkers, kite-eating dogs, pools left by the retreating tide - and don't scare the horses! A great spot at low tide - stiff breezes are common, and other beach users aside, there are no obstacles to kite flying.
Best Wind : S, SE, SW
Worst Winds : E, W
