Ainsdale
on Sea is massive see pic below and map.

The beach goes on a bit both North and South. But its the Southern part
you should Kite on, just go onto beach turn left and follow down to
the post buried in the sand, anywhere past there is ok apparently until
you get to the next barrier just under 2 miles down the beach. National
Trust get grumpy if you go further; I know; sorry NT.
Home of Ainsdale on Sea Power Kite Club get more info from www.aospkc.ork.uk.
and TASKC. However, you do not need to join any club, you just need
to go to the Rangers hut, show your insurance, passport, driving licence,
birth certificate, NE number, know your mothers maiden name and have
a tattoo and you can get a permit (in reality just your insurance).
Best Wind : Pretty much any wind
Worst Winds : N, S will give less of a run (seen the
size of this beach , who cares).
Good Points
• Parking right on the beach and we mean ON the beach
• Pretty much any wind is good.
Bad Points
This is like being in a sweetie shop without being able to eat the sweeties.
The beach is massive and they have under 2 miles of it. I mean what
the hell does the National Trust do with 6 miles+ of empty beach?
